UFOs, Aliens & UAPs: Possibilities Every Christian Should Consider—And How To Respond

The Disclosure That Has Everyone Shaking Their Heads

The Pentagon has released over 160 formerly classified records, citing President Trump’s call for unprecedented transparency — files dating back to the 1940s, including reports from military sources, government officials, and even the crew of Apollo 11. The world is buzzing. But Christians should not be alarmed. 

Four Possibilities — One Sovereign God

What are these phenomena? If we assume that the most legitimate evidence is not from a series of hoaxes over the years — and we know there have been many hoaxes — there are just four possible answers that demand honest consideration. 

First, they may be supernatural beings the Bible already names: angels or demons. Ephesians 6:12 tells us clearly, “We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers”. The Bible is packed with evidence of supernatural beings engaging with humans in all sorts of fantastical ways, especially in the skies. If these phenomena are real and “not of this world,” this is obviously the most likely conclusion.

Second, they still may be classified government or industrial projects or experiments that no one is admitting to. This was always the most likely explanation, and though it seems slightly less likely today, it’s continues to be a strong probability. We can never trust mankind to do the right thing or ever come clean when they don’t. For that, the hoax box will likewise never be empty.

Third, they could be evidence of advanced people groups living beneath our oceans or deep underground. This is the least-discussed possibility but it seems to be gaining credibility, especially when considered alongside the supernatural activity noted above. 

Fourth— and the most provocative possibility — they may in fact be interstellar or interdimensional beings God created but simply never detailed in Scripture. This also would seem far more likely with supernatural involvement of some sort, as many of the current laws of physics would disintegrate if proven.

Regardless of which answer is true, Colossians 1:16 settles it: “All things were created by Him and for Him.” God is Creator of ALL. There is nothing to fear but God Himself.

Christ Reigns Over All — Seen and Unseen

Oxford mathematician John Lennox warned that Scripture’s response to the unknown is the admonition, “Be not deceived,” Paul warned that even the elect risk deception — meaning if UAP revelations cause a crisis of faith among believers, that says more about the state of the Church than about aliens. (BreakPoint) According to the Biblical record, among the creatures that exist are both the angelic and the demonic, and neither are made in the image of God — making human exceptionalism the starting point for all discernment.

Early Christians condemned fear of supernatural beings, believing Satan’s defeat by Christ was definitive and that the resurrection enthroned Him above all other powers — and that certainty allows believers to properly understand even the unexplainable. Psalm 103:19 declares: “The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and His kingdom rules over all.” That includes every galaxy, dimension, and classified file.

Stop being spiritually lazy 

The files are open, the phenomena appear to be real, and deception is accelerating. If you don’t know God’s Word for yourself — not your pastor’s version, not a podcast summary — you will be swept away. 2 Timothy 2:15 commands it plainly: “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” The hour is too late and the stakes are too high for secondhand faith. Know the God you serve — intimately, personally, and urgently — because the greatest deception in human history may already be unfolding, and only the truth of Scripture will keep you standing.
