A fragile two-month truce has been shattered by renewed attacks, and Trump made clear the window for a negotiated settlement is now closed. The deal, by Trump’s own account, would have been “great” for Iran. They walked away. Proverbs 13:15 is painfully direct: “The way of the unfaithful is hard.” Iran chose the hard road.

Military Collapse and Economic Ruin

Trump announced on Truth Social that “Iran’s Military is a complete and total mess” and that their Navy and Air Force “don’t even exist anymore.” Meanwhile, oil prices surged nearly 2% and U.S. stock futures fell — a global economy rattled by one nation’s stubbornness. Nations built on intimidation collapse under their own weight. 

A War That Spread

A U.S. Apache helicopter went down after colliding with an Iranian drone off the coast of Oman — both crew members were rescued — but the incident triggered a major escalation after weeks of stalled peace talks, with the war now spreading into Lebanon, where Israeli strikes have killed over 3,600 people.

Time To Pray

Pray for the innocent lives caught in the crossfire. Pray for all who are involved and for peace to finally be achieved, whether that means completely reducing Iran to rubble or reaching an agreement that will finally bring this to an end.
