The Western media is finally recognizing Ukraine’s war-time “hero” for what he is—a power-hungry showman manipulating optics and clinging to control—same as it ever was.
For years, Volodymyr Zelensky has been cast as the world’s symbol of resistance. But as The Gateway Pundit now reports, the global media chorus is changing its tune. The glossy image is giving way to reports of corruption, censorship, and rule-by-decree.
“It’s been long known how Zelensky ruled Ukraine by censoring the press, outlawing opposition parties and extending his mandate way beyond May 2024, when it expired.” (Gateway Pundit)
The same report reveals a “relentless centralization of authority” under Zelensky and his powerful adviser Andriy Yermak. Their use of “lawfare” to silence critics has stunned observers. Former president Petro Poroshenko now accuses Zelensky of removing “any competitor from the political landscape.” Sounds a lot like Putin’s Russia.
What began as a public defense of sovereignty is morphing into an obvious obsession with dominance. For some, this has always been apparent, as the Ukrainian war has served as the perfect stage prop—a perpetual emergency that shields unchecked authority.
We’ve seen this all before through all of history. We call it the Napoleon Complex. When leaders fall in love with their own image robed in power, their helpless citizens always pay the price. Ukraine’s young men continue to die on the front lines while the man in the bunker guards his own graven image. Putin is no better in this regard, but we have no real influence over Russia. It’s time for the US to force Zelensky off his manufactured stage so we can end his deadly power play, once and for all. Read more at The Gateway Pundit.
“Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands far away; truth has stumbled in the public squares, and uprightness cannot enter.” (Isaiah 59:14)
Pray for truth in Ukraine. Pray for leaders humble enough to serve rather than rule—and for nations wise enough to see through the performance.
