When Tucker Carlson gave Nick Fuentes—a Holocaust-denying, white-nationalist antisemite—a friendly platform in late October 2025, the result was predictable: a firestorm of outrage, resignations, and moral exposure across conservative ranks.
Fuentes spewed poison—calling Jews “perfidious,” mocking the Holocaust as “exaggerated,” and promising “death penalties” for Jews “when we take power.” (New York Post) He ranted about “Zionist control” and “organized Jewry,” recycling the ugliest tropes of twentieth-century fascism. (Jerusalem Post)
Yet Carlson let it stand—smiling, nodding, and offering almost no challenge. That sort of behavior from Tucker might surprise you, but it shouldn’t. He exposed himself a long time ago. There was a time when those of us at Red Sky saw him as a conservative ally and friend of Bible-believing Christians, but that ship sailed a long time ago.
When Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts defended Carlson as a “close friend,” the backlash was immediate. Members of Heritage’s own National Task Force to Combat Antisemitism resigned en masse, unwilling to remain under leadership that excuses Jew-hatred. (Jewish Telegraphic Agency)
The Task force—launched under the banner of “Project Esther”—was designed to be a conservative bulwark against Jew-hatred. Prominent voices like Rabbi Yaakov Menken and Mark Goldfeder declared they could no longer serve alongside anyone defending a man who gives a platform to neo-Nazis. (Times of Israel)
Only after the internal revolt did Roberts issue a second statement condemning Fuentes’s “vicious antisemitic ideology” and “relentless conspiracy theories.” (Jewish News Syndicate)
The reversal didn’t erase the hesitation that came before it. The Heritage Foundation—a very powerful conservative think tank—is now in deep trouble, and we join the Task Force in calling them out for appeasing Carlson and the Jew-haters he promotes.
This controversy extends beyond a single interview. Antisemitism is not merely a talking point—it’s sin, idolatry, and open rebellion against the Word of God. Those who follow Christ must reject complicity in every form. Allowing hatred to breathe unchecked is a slow partnership with its destruction.
The resignations from Heritage were acts of conscience that transcend the much-needed symbolism. Each one showed what integrity looks like when faced with unjust political pressure. They walked away from prestige to preserve principle and truth, proving that character still matters inside the conservative movement. We all need to learn from Rabbi Menken and his colleagues—Jews and Christians alike.
That’s the kind of bold, uncompromising leadership the Church and the nation need right now. The Prophet Isaiah spoke to this day:
Pastor Greg Locke warned the Christian world weeks ago: The conservative movement will soon divide down the middle, based on where we each of us stand concerning Israel. This is a prophetic warning we must not ignore, as the divide could hand power back to the liberal left and derail everything we’ve accomplished through Trump. If we cannot convince the anti-Semitic elements on the right to repent, all could be lost. The conservative movement can’t heal the present divides by pretending this didn’t happen. The future belongs to those who tell the Biblical truth and destroy Jew hatred—no matter who it offends.
