Conservative Victories That Actually Matter

The One Big Beautiful Bill is now law. What it eliminates is as significant as what it funds—and for once, America isn’t financing its own downfall. There is no perfect budget, but this one gets most of it right. Let’s take an early look at the clear victories for those of us who stand for Biblical values and conservative standards.

• First, Planned Parenthood has lost its federal Medicaid funding for the full year, stripping roughly $700 million from the abortion industry. This is likely a permanent reality as long as we have a conservative President. This cut is expected to force nearly 200 clinic closures, mostly in blue states where abortion remains protected (Time). Praise God. 
• A massive $1.2 trillion in cuts to welfare programs, including Medicaid and SNAP (food stamps)—two systems riddled with fraud, overpayments, and eligibility scams (Congressional Budget Office). Much more on this in tomorrow’s Red Sky.
  
• $170 billion for border security and immigration enforcement, including wall construction, detention expansion, and new federal agents (KTVU).
  
• $150 billion increase in defense (military) spending, with investments in shipbuilding, missile defense, and military innovation (KTVU).
  
• Work requirements for Medicaid recipients now mandate 80 hours per month for able-bodied adults (Verywell Health).
  
• Taxes eliminated on tips and overtime, saving real money for working-class families making under $150K (Washington Post).
  
• Child tax credit raised to $2,200 per child, providing expanded relief to families committed to raising—not aborting—the next generation (Washington Post).

The Bill That Broke the Back of the Left’s Agenda

In the balance, this was a historic reckoning. Federal tax dollars have long funded corruption and fraud, divisive racist entitlements, child sacrifice, and cultural rot. This bill reroutes those funds to what matters—defense, security, and the family unit. It’s about time.
