The Antichrist’s Greatest Trick: Convincing the World He’ll Never Exist

A Dangerous Thesis

A fascinating piece out of The Boar this week makes a bold claim: liberal globalism is not only dying—it never truly lived. Writer Callum Price argues that the vision of a borderless, bureaucratic utopia governed by elite consensus was always more fiction than fact. “Liberal globalism,” he writes, “is not dying, because it was never really alive in the first place.”

That line stopped me mid-scroll—but not because I agreed. In fact, it struck me as eerily familiar. Because this is how the enemy works.

The Devil at Work

Satan’s oldest and most effective tactic is to convince the world he doesn’t even exist. Discredit the source, deny the strategy, and people stop resisting. C.S. Lewis nailed this in The Screwtape Letters, where a senior demon boasts that, “Our policy… is to conceal ourselves.” It’s a trick as old as the Garden of Eden—and still effective today. That same idea resurfaced in The Usual Suspects, when a con man cleverly observed: “The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist.”

And here it is again—resurrected in headlines that claim globalism never existed.

A Demonic Agenda in Disguise

That’s what makes Price’s hypothesis so dangerous—not because he’s insincere, but because he’s likely underestimating the calculated nature of this system. Liberal globalism isn’t a failed experiment—it’s a demonic counterfeit kingdom, cleverly cloaked in good intentions and humanitarian lingo. See 2 Corinthians 11:14.

Yes, Price is right to observe that the globalist machine is finally facing real pushback. From Trump’s pro-Judeo-Christian platform to the rise of parental rights and renewed focus on national borders, everyday people are reclaiming their authority, their families, and their faith. But we must not confuse a tactical retreat with a total defeat.

The Playbook Is Predictable

As we warned in our recent Red Sky exposé, The Free Trade Lie, this kind of turtling is textbook strategy. The globalists vanish just long enough for the Church to go back to sleep—then reemerge with a new brand, a new flag, and a recycled agenda.

Because here’s the sobering truth: Scripture tells us they will rise again, more powerful than ever, when the Antichrist steps onto the stage. Their vision will be realized temporarily, built on forced worship, surveillance, and world control.

“[The beast] was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation, and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain.” (Revelation 13:7–8)

Don’t Waste God’s Grace

So yes, let’s praise God for this space of grace—this divinely granted pause to get our spiritual houses in order before it’s too late. But let’s not forget that the devil doesn’t sleep. The war is still raging. And lukewarm Christianity is no match for a rebranded beast system.

Let’s continue to root out the globalist’s progressive lies, restore Judeo-Christian values, and rally behind the truth while we still have real allies in the White House. This doesn’t end with an election. It ends when Christ returns for His spotless bride.
