President Donald J. Trump has done what the globalist elites and “World War 3” Chicken Little’s never wanted to see: he brought the fire and the dying to a halt. On Truth Social, he announced a brokered ceasefire agreement between Israel and Iran, framing it as the close of what he called the “12 Day War.” Whatever your take on his style, the substance here is undeniable.
Here’s Trump’s full post:
“It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE (in approximately 6 hours from now, when Israel and Iran have wound down and completed their in progress, final missions!), for 12 hours, at which point the War will be considered, ENDED! Officially, Iran will start the CEASEFIRE and, upon the 12th Hour, Israel will start the CEASEFIRE and, upon the 24th Hour, an Official END to THE 12 DAY WAR will be saluted by the World. During each CEASEFIRE, the other side will remain PEACEFUL and RESPECTFUL.”
This is the kind of bold, result-driven diplomacy we have come to expect from Trump and his team. Not posturing or pontificating or scapegoating. Just decisive action in defense of Israel and the US—and it worked.
Once again, Trump did what no one else could. He’s the only world leader treating Israel like an ally instead of a liability, so not even his haters have reason to be surprised.
Trump’s decision to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem and his historic Abraham Accords already proved he understands covenant in a way politicians never will. Now he’s brokered another moment of preservation for God’s people—at God’s speed—praise His holy name.
We don’t know how long this ceasefire will hold. But that doesn’t change what it is: another blessing in this “space of Grace” we have with Trump. Like every other biblical move we’ve seen Trump make—including his epic assasination survival—it’s a certified gift from God, and gifts like this are never meant to lull us into passivity—they’re meant to awaken us to purpose.
Pray for Iran. Pray for Israel. Pray for our government and our troops. And pray that America will return to electing leaders who fear God and defend truth like Trump, despite their flaws.“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! May they be secure who love you!” (Psalm 122:6)
