Another Brick Falls from Babylon’s Wall
The hand of God is still moving in America. In this extended space of grace, the Lord just shook the gates of legal hell again—this time through the highest court in the land. The U.S. Supreme Court, in a 6–3 decision, has backed South Carolina’s right to cut Planned Parenthood off from its state Medicaid program. That means any state with the spine to stand for life can now slam the door on abortion profiteers—even if federal red tape tries to hold them hostage.
The case, Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic, tested whether Medicaid recipients could sue states over the exclusion of abortion providers. The answer from the Court? Absolutely not. That power belongs to the states. And in this case, one of them had the guts to use it (AP News).
South Carolina’s Governor Henry McMaster wasn’t playing games when he signed the executive order back in 2018. And now that order stands as a national precedent. His statement after the ruling couldn’t have been more direct:
“The legality of my executive order prohibiting taxpayer dollars from being used to fund abortion providers like Planned Parenthood has been affirmed by the highest court in the land.” (Governor.SC.gov)
Praise God!
A New Weapon in Trump’s Arsenal
This ruling couldn’t have come at a better time for President Trump’s pro-life playbook. His One Big Beautiful Bill Act—the OBBBA—is already moving through the Senate with bold promises to choke off federal funding to abortion providers. But in the swampy halls of Congress, progress is slow.
Now, thanks to the Supreme Court, states don’t have to wait. Even if the OBBBA hits a Senate blockade, this ruling gives governors the power to gut Planned Parenthood’s blood money supply line at the state level. That’s a game-changer for Trump’s movement—and a nightmare for every lobbyist counting on D.C. to do their dirty work.
Don’t miss the fact that God is giving His people more time. More time to repent. More time to speak up. More time to act like the Church instead of hiding behind pulpits and politics.
The Lord is not waiting for America to “get it together.” He’s handing out victories to see who’s willing to steward them. That means there’s no time to coast. The door is still open—but it’s not staying open forever.
“Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter.” (Proverbs 24:11)
Let’s fight like lives depend on it—because they do.
