Reckless Social Media Influencer Boonk Gang Now Preaches Gospel To Incarcerated Men

A reckless social media influencer named Boonk Gang now preaches the Gospel to incarcerated men. What a fantastic transformation!

Robert John Hill experienced childhood trauma and brokenness while growing up without a father. He was left to navigate life alone for most of his teenage years. Wanting to become rich and famous, he became a chaotic social media content creator, Boonk Gang.

He gained worldwide fame at age 20 and made a lot of money from his foolish video content. Once, John even disrupted an ongoing church service just to gain more views. Eventually, he turned to drugs to numb the pain he was feeling.

In 2018, he was arrested and imprisoned for a hit-and-run, three gun charges, and possession of narcotics. Upon entering his prison cell, his cellmate struck up a conversation with him and asked if he believed in Jesus.

“Yes, sir, I do believe in Jesus. Could you tell me more about Him?” John responded.

Upon hearing his answer, the man began to teach him about the Bible and show him the love of God. It was at that moment that John’s heart began to transform.

“I began to worship and sing, and I lay down on my bunk, feeling sad and starting to cry. Immediately, the presence of God came over me, stripped my sadness away, and filled me with joy,” he recalled.

At the age of 22, inside his prison cell, he had an encounter with the Holy Spirit. After being released from prison, he decided to leave his past behind and live his life fully for God.

John is now known as Holy Gabbana, a social media influencer with over 1.2 million followers on Instagram who uses his platform to lead people to Jesus. He is also sharing his testimony of how God transformed his life with incarcerated men. 

“God has redeemed me, restored me, and given me a new name. It’s my mission to share my testimony and tell people that we have a loving and understanding God.”
