Outnumbered but Undefeated: Israel’s Enemies Begin to Confess Defeat, But Ask, “How?”

Published today by the Newsrael News Desk, a remarkable admission has surfaced from a pro-Hezbollah Lebanese writer—an Islamist voice Newsrael has tracked for two years. His words, according to the outlet, are “indicative of many other jihadists.” That alone should tell us how deep this confession cuts.

Here is his statement in full:

“This war was lost from Gaza to Iran.

The difference is that on some battlefields the aftermath was manageable, salvageable and kept hope for another day.

The most important thing is to find solutions and find answers, because something went drastically wrong and the gap was bigger.

A nation of 7 million [10 million – ed.] should not have been able to achieve what it did across so many areas over such a geography continuously without setbacks.

The problem today, we are looking for an answer to a question, a decade too late and we are way overdue to prepare for the upcoming question.”

We know the answer. 

Israel, a nation of under ten million, should never have been able to withstand an onslaught backed by populations exceeding a billion. Yet it has—and the reason is clear. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob stands behind His people. “No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed.” (Isaiah 54:17)

Let’s not forget how this bloody war began. Iran and its jihadist proxies in Hamas started this long war with their horrific October 7 massacre of innocent Israeli citizens—including children, women, and elderly—and they alone perpetuate this war with their refusal to surrender. Every death from Gaza to Lebanon to Iran sits squarely on their shoulders, and they will remain responsible until they finally lay down their arms.

The time for denial is over. The world must recognize that Israel is the only national victim of this war, and that Hamas must immediately and unconditionally surrender and release their hostages and imprisoned citizens to end the bloodshed now. Likewise, it’s time for all people to recognize the Jews as God’s chosen, and that striking them is like striking out at God. Share this truth. Speak it boldly. Stand with Israel.
