Gaza’s Real Crisis: An Evil Government That Refuses to Surrender
The debate over providing aid to Gaza continues to dominate global headlines, as U.S. Special Envoy David Satterfield announced that Israel would only handle security while a new aid plan unfolds in the war-torn region (Reuters). But as the world discusses aid, let’s not forget the monstrous hypocrisy of the anti-Israel crowd.
Nazis by Any Other Name
Israel is not retaliating. It is fulfilling a legal and moral obligation to dismantle a ruling power that initiated this war with the goal of annihilating the Jewish state. Hamas, the elected governing power in Gaza, must either completely surrender and release all hostages—just as the Nazis were forced to do in WWII—or face the destruction of its strongholds and command centers. Anything less is complicity in evil, allowing terrorists to dictate the terms of engagement while innocent civilians remain in captivity.
The Actual War Crimes
On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched a barbaric assault on Israel, killing 1,200 Israelis and abducting 251 hostages, including women, children, and the elderly (Reuters). As of May 2025, 59 hostages remain in Gaza, with only 24 confirmed alive (Reuters). Instead of surrendering, Hamas weaponizes its own women and children as human shields, manipulating global sentiment against Israel for daring to rescue its citizens and dismantle a regime of terror.
Biblical Mandate for Eradicating Evil
Scripture underscores the principle of eliminating wicked regimes to protect the innocent and prevent further bloodshed. God commanded His people to utterly remove those bent on their destruction (Deuteronomy 20:16-17, ESV).
Providing aid to Gaza without dismantling the Hamas government is not humanitarian; it’s enabling terror and manipulation. The only path to ending this horror is the complete eradication of the Hamas regime. Israel must be allowed to finish the job.
