In a dramatic escalation of law enforcement action, former CNN anchor Don Lemon was indicted by a federal grand jury and arrested while en route to host the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles for his role in a coordinated disruption of a church service in Minnesota. Federal authorities say Lemon and others stormed Cities Church during worship, confronting congregants and challenging the pastor over alleged ties to federal immigration enforcement (The Federalist)
Attorney General Pam Bondi confirmed the operation, stating that federal agents executed the arrest “in connection with the coordinated attack on Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota.”
The indictment alleges Lemon did not merely observe events but actively participated in the leftist-led storming of the church, raising serious questions about the boundary between reporting and participation in civil disobedience.
In a nation still founded on religious liberty and civil order, the disruption of worship services is not a political stunt — it is a violation of the law.
The Bible is clear:
“Let all things be done decently and in order” (1 Corinthians 14:40), and, “God is not the author of confusion” (1 Corinthians 14:33).
Across America, liberal activists are increasingly partnering with globalist leaders to destabilize traditional institutions — from borders to churches. This goes beyond political disagreement and reflects a broader disregard for lawful conduct.
These individuals, increasingly out of control, are promoting chaos in the streets and now barging into church services, demonstrating contempt for both civic law and God’s established order. “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities” (Romans 13:1–2). Scripture calls believers to obey the law, honoring God by respecting the governing authority He has placed in power. Such actions reflect a profound disregard for God, for fellow citizens, and for the nation itself.
We must stand with those upholding the law and protecting places of worship from intimidation and threats to life. The erosion of legal boundaries does not strengthen America — it invites disarray. When Christians and law-abiding citizens are terrorized, it is not activism; it is persecution.
God remains sovereign, and His word stands unshaken. Those who stand against the Bible, law, and order today will ultimately answer to both earthly courts and a Divine Judge. “For there is no authority except from God” (Romans 13:1). Now is the time for believers and citizens alike to stand firm for truth, respect lawful authority, and defend the peace and order that preserve both faith and freedom.
