As American citizens watching our nation unravel in real time, I believe without a shadow of a doubt that the United States of America is standing at a crossroads — and the warning signs are everywhere. This week, Elon Musk issued a blunt, no-nonsense warning that echoes the fear many Americans are afraid to say out loud: “America is toast if the radical left wins.” (source: dailywire.com) And he’s right— not just toast. This time, it would be burnt toast, beyond repair.

In just one year, we’ve witnessed what happens when borders are secured and law is restored: communities become safer, and human flourishing follows. This truth aligns squarely with Scripture, which calls us to defend the vulnerable and pursue justice (Proverbs 31:8–9). But if those borders are flung open again, history tells us exactly what comes next — unchecked chaos, rising crime, bloodshed, and an economic collapse unlike anything we’ve seen before. See Great Britain and Europe for examples.

I agree — this isn’t about agreeing with the elected official on every stance. We all know that “there is none righteous, no, not one.” No one is perfect — only God. And Scripture doesn’t mince words when it warns us: “Put no trust in man, for he is like a breath…” (Psalm 146:3–4). Our hope does not rest in politicians, parties, or personalities. Our ultimate trust must be in God alone — and that truth should sober every decision we make at the ballot box. And that moment is coming sooner than we think.
This moment in history is not about political perfection — it’s about preserving what little stability we have left. America is undone, held together by threads. We have all chased after false gods, pursuing mammon while neglecting the very One who holds everything together — Jesus Christ. And in His mercy, He has granted us a window of grace to repent and set things right. If this moment goes unchecked, the collapse ahead will make anything we’ve debated or endured so far look small by comparison. What’s coming isn’t hypothetical — it’s imminent.
As Christians, we are called not to despair, but to act — to pray, to vote, and to stand for truth. We must get our own lives in check with God’s agenda, not our own. The clock is ticking — and the moment to stand is now.
