UFOs: Aliens Or Demons? JD Vance Believes They Are Demons

The growing cultural fascination with UFOs and extraterrestrial life has taken a striking turn. Vice President JD Vance, who is a devout Catholic, is now challenging the mainstream narrative—not pointing to green beings in outer space, but directly to the spiritual realm.

JD Vance Calls It What It Is

In a recent interview, Vance made his position unmistakably clear: “I don’t think they’re aliens… I think they’re demons.” (Fox News) He did not stop there. He described these entities in deeply spiritual terms: “Celestial beings… who do weird things to people.”  He also pointed to a shared understanding across belief systems: “Every great world religion… has understood that there are weird things out there.”  And he openly admitted: “I’m obsessed with this.”

Scripture Has Already Revealed The Truth

The Bible does not leave this subject open to speculation. Ephesians 6:12 declares: “We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against… spiritual wickedness in high places.” This confirms that the real conflict is not physical—it is spiritual from the very start. 2 Corinthians 11:14 warns: “Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.”

What appears mysterious—or even fascinating—may, in reality, be deception. 1 John 4:1 commands: “Test the spirits whether they are of God.” Not everything supernatural is from heaven. If you do not know the Word of God, you are an open target for the enemy to attack. It is the Holy Spirit who gives a believer discernment to distinguish what is from heaven and what is from hell. God is not the author of confusion. Satan is.

If the world embraces “aliens” as harmless green beings flying around in outer space, it blinds itself to the spiritual danger behind the existence of demons and the reality of the spiritual realm. The Bible warned this would happen: “Seducing spirits” would lead many astray (1 Timothy 4:1).

And they are.

Stand Alert In The Spirit

Scripture is clear—believers are called to spiritual awareness, not passive curiosity. 1 Peter 5:8 warns:

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”

This is not a time to be entertained by deception. It is a time to be grounded in truth.Test every spirit. Walk in the authority and discernment given through the Holy Spirit.
