Trump Is Right to End Maduro’s Reign—and America Is Right to Lead Venezuela’s Transition Away From the Evil Axis

Justice delayed is justice denied—especially when tyranny rules a nation in our hemisphere.

Nicolás Maduro was never a legitimate leader. He was a dictator who stole elections, crushed dissent, and reduced one of the richest nations in the Western Hemisphere to economic ruin and humanitarian despair. His rule was marked by political imprisonment, state-sponsored violence, secret executions, and the systematic abuse of his own people. That record isn’t debatable. It’s documented history.

For years, Venezuelans have lived under a regime that weaponized hunger, lawlessness, and fear. Many millions (nearly 20% of the population) fled. Those who stayed endured state imposed poverty, food shortages, blackouts, and severe violence while Maduro’s inner circle enriched itself. Some were left so severely starved that they resorted to eating stray animals caught in the streets. 

Any moral framework rooted in justice recognizes that such a ruler forfeits legitimacy. More importantly, the Bible is unambiguous about leaders who oppress the innocent and thrive on corruption. That’s why the removal of Maduro and U.S. involvement in overseeing Venezuela’s transition is not only justifiable but necessary. Let’s discuss that. 

Why The US Must Take the Lead

Despite the manufactured outrage pushed by foreign media and globalist institutions, most honest Venezuelans are wildly celebrating Trump’s decision. The loudest critics waving cameras and slogans do not represent the people who buried loved ones, rationed food, and prayed for deliverance. They represent outside interests that are terrified of losing leverage, using the same globalist strategies we’ve seen play out for decades. Paid agitators and ideological mouthpieces do not speak for a nation that has suffered this long.

Maduro’s threat to the United States was real and ongoing. His regime functioned as an organized crime enterprise tied to drug trafficking, narco-terror networks, and regional destabilization. American communities have paid the price for that chaos from the drugs, violence, and border strain. Countless Americans have lost their lives in this nightmare, my young cousin included. That alone justified decisive action. But the larger danger was strategic, and will help avert (or delay?) world war.

The Evil Axis Has to be Evicted

Venezuela sits atop the largest known oil reserves on earth, positioned just south of our border. Under Maduro, those reserves became bargaining chips for an unholy alliance with China, Russia, and Iran. Allowing that evil axis to consolidate energy dominance in our hemisphere would have handed hostile powers extraordinary, unjust leverage over global markets and American security. No responsible nation permits that outcome anywhere in the world—let alone in our own backyard.

U.S. leadership during Venezuela’s transition isn’t an act of conquest. It’s a mission of containment, stabilization, and restoration. It’s an effort to prevent a failed state from becoming a permanent base of operations for America’s enemies—or the goldmine to fuel their anti-Christ agendas. 

History will remember Maduro as a tyrant brought to justice. And it will remember that America chose to act when delay would have further endangered American and Venezuelan citizens alike, while further destabilizing the entire planet.

The Bible’s Final Word

God does not bless nations that ignore evil when they have the power to restrain it. He does bless those who uphold justice, protect the innocent, and refuse to partner with darkness.

Pray for Venezuelans rebuilding their nation and the Americans who will be helping them. Pray for leaders who resist global pressure and act with moral resolve. And refuse to be swayed by narratives designed to defend what God has already exposed as evil.
