What Happened: Execution-Style Terror Near the White House

Wolfe and Specialist Sarah Beckstrom, 20, both of the West Virginia National Guard, were ambushed near the White House in a targeted, execution-style attack. An Afghani terrorist granted sanctuary in the United States under the Biden administration shot both Guardsmen in the head at close range, according to law enforcement details cited by the New York Post. Tragically, Sarah Beckstrom—who was also shot in the head—did not survive. Her death was not accidental, random, or unavoidable—it was the result of a deliberate act of murder allowed. May God heal the hearts of her grieving family, her fellow soldiers, and other loved ones.

President Donald Trump has often honored young Sarah, and is now describing Wolfe’s recovery as “pretty amazing,” while also calling the attack what it was — terror enabled by reckless sanctuary policies that placed American service members directly in harm’s way. (New York Post)

Where Death Showed Up, God Delivers a Sobering Answer

The same bullet trajectory that killed one soldier should have killed both, but it didn’t. Wolfe’s parents have openly credited prayer and God’s mercy for their son’s survival and unexpected neurological progress. Doctors have acknowledged that his recovery defies medical expectation. God doesn’t favor one family’s prayers over another, so we know this miracle is a sobering reminder that He still gives, but He also still takes away—according to His divine plans. 

So while we grieve Specialist Sarah Beckstrom with humility and righteous anger, we celebrate Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe’s miracle with unrestrained gratitude. One life taken by evil. One life preserved by God.
