A man who allegedly fought with Hamas on October 7—the day Israel was drenched in innocent blood—wasn’t hiding in a cave or compound. He was living comfortably in Lafayette, Louisiana, under the full protection of U.S. immigration law.
According to The Western Journal, “Mahmoud Amin Ya-qub Al-Muhtadi, 33, was charged with fighting alongside Hamas in the massacre that killed more than 1,200 Israelis.” The Associated Press confirmed that Al-Muhtadi “supplied false information in his U.S. visa application … and was able to obtain permission to travel to the United States and obtain Legal Permanent Resident status.” How did he do it? He simply lied on a form, and Biden’s immigration officials apparently welcomed him in—from a terrorist state—with no real vetting. Imagine that.
This man crossed into Israel with rifle in hand, took part in mass murder, then crossed into America with a smile and a visa. Every American should feel outrage that such evil could step onto our soil with the Biden administration’s blessing.
If one operative could slip through, how many more are already here? Current White House Border Czar Tom Homan recently warned that with millions of illegal entries, “there could be cells here that could be activated by Iran or proxies.” (The National Desk)
Federal data supports Homan’s concern. More than two million “gotaways”—individuals who evaded capture—have crossed the border since 2021. Each one represents an unknown identity and an unvetted story. A study from George Washington University, cited by CBN News, mapped Hezbollah-linked activity across Michigan, New York, North Carolina, and California.
These aren’t mere rumors, so we must take the threat seriously. Thanks to Biden, the enemy isn’t at the gate—they’re already in the neighborhood.
Evil never rests. It only hides behind policy papers and press briefings until vigilance returns. God calls His people to discernment—to see through deception and stand watch when leaders fall asleep at their posts.
Scripture warns that “while people are saying, ‘There is peace and security,’ then sudden destruction will come upon them.” (1 Thessalonians 5:3, ESV)
As this case proves, we must stand vigilant—both at the border and in our neighborhoods. These sleeper cell terrorists have to live somewhere, so our own citizens are the best deterrents. As the saying goes, if you see something, say something. Fear not, but do your part, and be ready to stand firm when it all comes down.
