George W. Bush has once again showed his true colors—standing shoulder to shoulder with Barack Obama and globalist mouthpiece Bono, all crying over the well-earned death of USAID. The same Bush who watched the horrors of 9/11 unfold on his watch—while benefitting greatly—is now praising an agency that’s been robbing taxpayers blind and leading the nations into perversion for decades.
USAID, the State Department’s activist piggy bank, is finally dead—and they’re all having a meltdown. Obama called it a “travesty.” Bush said the staff showed “America’s good heart.” (Truth Press). No mention of the billions wasted. No mention of the global destabilization USAID helped bankroll.
While running his DOGE investigation, Elon Musk told the truth: USAID had become “a viper’s nest of radical-left Marxists who hate America.” Trump agreed—and shut it down.
A few simple snapshot numbers tell the real story:
Secretary of State Marco Rubio didn’t sugarcoat it. He called USAID exactly what it was: a taxpayer-funded machine that spread instability and failed at nearly every objective since the Cold War.
Let the Left cry. Real aid—the kind that feeds families and saves lives—will continue through the State Department, under actual accountability. The fraud is what got cut. Not the mission. No legitimate substantive need will go ignored.
This is what putting America first looks like: cleaning house, cutting waste, and shutting down programs designed to export woke ideology instead of real help.
As USAID’s corpse cooled, Bono read a poem. Hillary posted a tearful eulogy. Bush and Obama cried along with them. But Trump didn’t hold back:
“Forty-Five Million Dollars For Diversity, Equity And Inclusion Scholarships In Burma. Forty Million To Improve The Social And Economic Inclusion Of Sedentary Migrants. Nobody Even Knows What That Means.”
We do now. It means the globalist fleecing and indoctrination operation just lost its primary cover—and they’re all scrambling like roaches.“Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.” (Ephesians 5:11)
