It’s about time.
In a landmark decision on June 27, 2025, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 6–3 in favor of religious parents, allowing them to opt their children out of public school lessons featuring LGBTQ+-themed storybooks that conflict with their religious beliefs.
“Government officials burden religious rights when they force parents to submit their children to instruction that poses ‘a very real threat of undermining’ their beliefs.”
Justice Samuel Alito, writing for the majority, emphasized that government officials burden the religious rights of parents when they require them to “submit their children to instruction that poses ‘a very real threat of undermining’ the religious beliefs and practices that the parents wish to instill.”
“The Court’s decision may now “expand opt-out rights beyond reproductive health classes—potentially nationwide.”
This is a tidal shift. A spiritual shaking. A wake-up call for us all.
For many religious families, this ruling is a reaffirmation of their rights to raise their children according to their faith.
As a woman of faith, I see this as a moment to praise God. It’s about time that our rights are recognized and upheld. This is just the beginning. One by one, God is using leaders like President Trump and his administration to make the crooked places straight again. The USA is returning to the very foundation it was formally established on: “One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.” Amen!!
“Montgomery County had revoked an opt-out policy, even for families whose religions conflict with the books’ messages on pride and identity.”
At last—REAL pushback with backbone. This fight was never just about storybooks. It’s about who holds the authority to shape our children’s hearts and minds. And finally—FINALLY—that God-given right is being given back to the PARENTS.
This ruling is a call to action for every Christian parent in America: Raise your voice. Know your rights. Don’t back down.
Fight for your children.
The United States is returning back to God. Let the Church rise. Let the family lead once again. And let our children grow up in truth—not confusion.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY.
