“No More Dudes in Dresses”—Supreme Court Signals Shift on Military Trans Ban

In a pivotal move, the Supreme Court just cleared the way for President Donald Trump’s executive order banning transgender individuals from serving in the U.S. military to be enforced—at least for now. As a Christian woman and a grateful American, I see this as a powerful step toward restoring discipline, order, and biblical truth to our armed forces.

The Court’s 6-3 decision didn’t decide the case outright—but it did strike down a lower court injunction that had blocked the policy, allowing the Department of Defense to resume enforcement while the legal battle continues. In short, the stay is lifted, and the mission can move forward.

Under the policy, individuals diagnosed with gender dysphoria or those who’ve undergone gender transition procedures are disqualified from serving. And make no mistake—this isn’t about discrimination. It’s about defending military readiness, unity, and the God-ordained truth of male and female.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth put it bluntly: “Efforts to split our troops along lines of identity weaken our force and make us vulnerable.” (The Guardian)

And on X, he drove the point home: “No more trans @ DoD.” In a video that same day, he didn’t hold back: “No more dudes in dresses. We are done with that s—.”

This shift redirects focus to what actually matters—readiness and cohesion. God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33), and the military should never be a platform for it. Genesis 1:27 makes it clear: “Male and female He created them.” That’s not a lifestyle choice—it’s divine design.

Romans 12:2 calls us to reject the patterns of this world and be transformed by renewing our minds. That call extends to every institution, including our military. We don’t need policies that bow to identity politics—we need leadership anchored in truth.

This decision hits home for me. I come from a family of service. My grandfather flew as a Flying Tiger in WWII. My uncle, a helicopter gunner in Vietnam, went MIA and earned two Purple Hearts. My father served in the U.S. Navy. My brother-in-law is a U.S. Marine. I’ve seen real sacrifice—and I know the difference between protecting our country and protecting an agenda.

And let’s be clear: while the broader legal fight continues, this ruling matters. It sets a tone. It signals that there’s still room in America’s highest court for truth, for reason, and yes—for God. It tells every Christian parent, teacher, and business owner watching this cultural tide that we are not powerless. This is legal momentum—and it’s a step toward reclaiming righteousness in a nation that’s long needed a wake-up call.
