Simone Peer thought that being a white witch was on the good side of the occult. It wasn’t until she came across a testimony that she learned the truth.
Into the darkness
Simone was introduced to occult practices through her mother, who consulted psychics and spirits. In their family, horoscopes, numerology, ouija boards, ghosts, and psychic phenomena were normal. So, it was no surprise that she would be into it as well. However, what truly drove her to delve into the dark realm was her childhood experiences. A close family member physically and verbally abused her. Aside from that, she was also molested by a neighbor when she was 5 years old.
She never told anyone about it and even believed in the lie that she was completely unlovable. Those feelings eventually led her to a life of promiscuity as a teenager. She was also into alcohol and drugs and was often suicidal. In college, she began studying tarot card reading and delved into new-age philosophy and practices.
Deep into the darkness
By the age of 20, she had become a self-proclaimed white witch, believing she was doing good for both others and herself. She thought that the deeper she got into it, the more she would find the light and answer to what was wrong with her. She spent the next 30 years seeking enlightenment and attaining the highest level of white witchcraft.
She then got involved with Santeria and other forms of spirituality and the occult, where they would do animal sacrifices and learn how to become a god like Jesus. It was a journey of finding enlightenment, but the more Simone tried, the more she felt the emptiness inside of her.
Finding the truth
Determined to find truth and peace, Simone came across a testimony video of famous heavy metal musician Alice Cooper in 2017. In the video, he talked about how Jesus set him free from alcoholism. That’s when Simone realized she was an “ambassador for Satan.” Her eyes were opened to the truth, and she got to know more about Jesus.
She then went through the salvation prayer and repented of her sins. Then, weeks later, she disposed of everything associated with the occult. She also started going to church and went through the process of deliverance, where she was set free from demonic strongholds.
She has no idea how many demons she was delivered from, but she knows that she is now free. Today, she dedicates her life to coaching others and sharing with them that Jesus is the true light of the world.
